Hi Tweets,

Kristi and I got out for a bit of local birding yesterday. We stopped by
Timberlake Park in SE Bellevue (on Lake Sammamish), which was surprisingly
birdy. Highlights were at least 4 (and maybe as many as 6) Townsend's
Warblers feeding in a mixed flock near the small parking area. There were
also quite a number of Varied Thrushes fluttering about (at least 8) along
with a nice representative sample of the more common winter Puget Sound
species. Timberlake is an easy place to overlook, but it's worth a stop if
you're in the area.
