All of this area is private property, please respect the rights of the people in this area and do not enter onto any property without the permission of the landowners. Klickitat County Commissioners have referred to birders as "eco-terriosts" and many of the locals are still unhappy about the creation of the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area.
The original granary tree in the city of Lyle was cut down by the homeowners who considered the birds and birders a nuisance. Don't do anything that might endanger the birds or our opportunity to view them.
