This afternoon I observed what I believe to be an adult Slaty-backed Gull
on Moses Lake. The gull was located at Neppel Landing Park. To get there
take exit 176 on I-90. Turn north on Broadway Avenue and continue to Ash
Street. Turn left on Ash and then take a right into the parking lot behind
the businesses. Neppel Landing Park runs along the railroad tracks to the
south about a mile. The gull was located today near the first dock as you go
south along the trail.

Also of note was a single Cattle Egret in Cascade Valley. Follow Valley Road
to Ottmar Road. take a right and continue along Ottmar. Scan all of the
pastures with animals, as the egret was moving from one pasture to another.
