My wife Janeanne Houston and I set out today in search of the ancient
murrelets and snow bunting mentioned a couple of days ago by the Sullivans,
but struck out. So we kept heading south, where we had a beautiful afternoon
at Nisqually. We were rewarded and surprised(!) by finding an evening
grosbeak along the spur trail by McAllister Creek - munching on red berries
with lots of robins and purple finches.
