Tweets,

I had an immature Red-shouldered Hawk perched in the deciduous woods
along Paulson Road near its intersection with Airport Way (west of
Hoquiam on the way to Grays Harbor NWR). The bird was seen around 2 pm on
Friday 11/26 and again around 2:30 pm Saturday 11/27. On Friday it was in
the woods very near the intersection; Saturday I located it further down
Paulson Road (closer to Hwy 109). I was able to take some poor but
diagnostic digital photos of the bird, if anyone is interested.

At the sewage lagoon on Friday was one imm. Snow Goose keeping company
with half a dozen Canada Geese. Also seen on the lagoon was 1 male Hooded
Merganser, and 6+ Canvasback among the assorted Ruddys, Lesser Scaup,
Ring-neckeds, Wigeon, Mallards, Gadwall, and Pintail.
