Hi Bob...I would love to see the red-shouldered hawk photos. I travel that
route to/from Aberdeen/Ocean Shores several times a week, and thought I saw
a hawk different from the usual red-tails and the rough-legged that hang out
there, but it was highlighted against the sun and I was enroute to an
appointment.

Also, that immature snow goose has been there for a few weeks now,
recovering from some wounds. When I first saw the goose it was limping,
favoring its left leg. It also had a serious-looking wound to the left eye
or just behind the eye, with a piece of skin (or its eyeball) hanging down.
It appears to be able to see now out of that left eye, and has healed very
nicely...so I am assuming it did not lose the eye.
