Hi, I just stopped at Vance Creek county park here in Elma on the way home from work to see if the Great Egret was around. No luck on the egret, but I did find 15 Trumpeter Swans on the pond that lies south of Wenzel Slough Rd. and is closest to the airport. I've heard reports of Tundra Swans in the area, but this is the first Trumpeters that I have seen or heard of this late fall. I'm glad to see them back!
