Glad you asked!

I just received the bird field guide I ordered last year for my own Christmas treat (in lieu of fudge and other goodies) - exactly one year later! The book is The Birds of Rost, Norwegian Language version, which I ordered through a bookstore in London (NHBS, if I remember the acronym correctly) who, in turn, had to order the book from the printers in Norway. I was studying Norwegian at the time (beginning), but will still have to use a dictionary to read the text. It does have the latin names for each bird mentioned. I also downloaded a simple little program (thanks to Eddie Chapman of Birdchat) that translated bird names from English or Latin into Norwegian. Now, how do I get to Norway? Ha! Ha!Smiles...Smiles...Smiles!

This London bookstore offers an outstanding variety of natural history books, though it ends up being a bit expensive considereng the exchange rate of US$ to Pounds or Euro dollars.

Cheers!
