All birders regardless of skill level are invited to take part in Whidbey
Island's Christmas Bird Count to be held on Saturday, Dec. 18. We
particularly need someone interested in passerines and a couple of
experienced birders who are able to cover an area on foot. Most of our count
areas feature a combination of coastline and upland habitats. Help us find
the birds we've overlooked in the past! Please contact me via e-mail or
