The redpolls (4 this time) were back at the FWS office today, 7th and Main in Othello. There is a family of Trumpeter Swans using a field (since Friday) on the Royal Slope, just south of the Sunny Royal Slope Dairy on the west side of Road E north of Road 14.8 SE. This location is just NW of Royal Lake, Columbia NWR (See WA birding guide or Coulee Corridor Birding Trail map) a few miles north of SR 26. Also several locations with Am Tree Sparrows. A Red-necked Grebe is lingering on Potholes Reservoir, visible from the dam = SR 262. One Say's Phoebe is hanging on near Morgan Lake at the Columbia NWR maintenance facility.
