Are any resources available (published, draft, personal/academic project, etc.)
to aid the identification of the recently split Canada Goose (Branta
canadensis) and Cackling Goose (Branta hutchinsii) *in hand*? If so, what is
the likelihood of their
reliability? Recent discussions suggest that it is especially challenging to
differentiate between B.c. parvipes and B.h. taverneri, and I would like to try
sorting them in hand if an opportunity arises.
