I missed a few turkey vultures!

17 Sept - 300 at Rocky Point, B.C.
20 Sept - 120 near Beechy Head, B.C.
23 Sept - 500 at Rocky Point, B.C.
26 Sept - 760 at Rocky Point, B.C.
27 Sept - 50 at Victoria, B.C.
30 Sept - 200 over the Mima Mounds; 2 over Beacon Hill accompanied by an
osprey

The birds at Rocky Point are, for the most part, what are seen at Salt
Creek. That's about the shortest distance across the Strait of Juan de
Fuca. There is a daily hawkwatch in that area, but I have just included a
few of the bigger days.
