Hi Tweets,

the fall color is coming on in higher elevations, I would suspect in the next week or two it will be even more colorful.

I was standing in the wrong place for the Sharpy that was chasing a small rodent, the prey ducked in the bushes about 5 feet from my feet as I was taking pictures of the Black tail deer. When the Sharp Shinned saw me he pulled up short and rose quickly into the air scaring the deer.

Other Birds not in any particular order:

Redtail hunting in a small valley

Chipping Sparrows
Mt Chickadees
Ravens
Varied Thrushes
Swainsons Thrushes
Winter Wrens singing away
Gray Jays by the dozen
Steller Jays
Clark's Nutcracker
Red Breasted Nuthatches
Dark-eyed Juncos
Pine Siskins
Song Sparrow
Lincoln Sparrow

Flycatchers and a warbler (couldn't tell what kind)
