OK, OK !

I was gonna report it, HONEST!! Today at about 2 PM in the company of a birder from Spokane, I spotted the BLACK TAILED GULL along the sandbar at North Cove. In an ironic twist, we had a black lab to thank. When the dog spooked the flock, we got lucky and picked the black tail out of the flock.

For me, 6th time was the charm!

Hello Tweets and other birders,

Today we were informed by a birding friend of ours that the Black-tailed Gull was again observed today by several birders between 11:45am-12:45pm and possibly beyond that time at the usual North Cove location along S.R.105. The bird was observed along the beach shoreline,as well as just offshore in the ocean, then returned to the open beaches. This information is for those that still desire to see the bird and to post the sighting in case other birders that saw the bird today do not post their sightings and observations of the bird. This date makes exactly 2 months that the Black-tailed Gull has been observed at this location,as first observed by Charlie Wright and Fred Boesche on the 3rd of August,2004.

Sincerely,

Ruth and Patrick Sullivan
