Tweets,
in the fog, in the morning, decided to check out Kent
ponds. I THINK the ponds were there. I never saw
them for sure. SLOW! Couldn't see 50 feet thru the
fog. Highlights : Lots of Savannah Sparrow, singing
Marsh wren and chick, W. Meadowlark, Ruby-crowned
Kinglet.

Boeing Ponds: ~30 American Pipits! Wilson's Snipe,
Ruddy Duck (Pair), Hooded Mergansers, Horned Grebe, PB
Grebe, Gadwall, A. Wigeon, N Shovelor, B. Kingfisher,
GC Sparrow, etc.

One Oddity at Boeing Ponds: A Wigeon that was slightly
"odd". Prominent white on the wings seen while it was
swimming. The head color was "off" as well. Overall
wigeon shape and features. Distinctly different than
it's fellows. Do A. Wigeon cross with other species?
If so, it is the first I've seen.
Any thoughts?

Good Birding!
Guy
