Subject: [Tweeters] Scrub Jay in south Capital Hill, Seattle

Since I am just getting back on tweeters after a year away, I'm curious how many scrubs were sighted in and around Seattle this year. Seems like there are always at least a couple every year now (Ballard a couple years back), and I wonder if they are starting to establish any kind of population here. Interesting if so. Thanks!

There was one this noon at 14th and Madison. Looking quite at home.

Two years ago at this time, we were in Portland, and there were more
Scrub Jays around than Steller's Jays. Dave Eshbaugh, then Executive
Director of Portland Audubon, said that that was usually true there in
the early fall.
