Great egrets are found regularly in the fall in the Walla Walla Valley on
Mill Creek, at Bennington Lake, along the Walla Walla River, and in the
fields south of Lowden and Touchet. We had one winter several years ago in
the Lowden area.
They are in larger numbers at the delta - had 13 there one day last week
