Tweeters and Whatcom Birders,

Today, October 10, I found a PALM WARBLER on Point Roberts. It was
sitting on a brush pile on Benson Road, about 100 yards west of Tyee
Drive, the main drag of Point Roberts. There were many sparrows in the
area, including Fox, Song, Golden-crowned, White-crowned, and at least
3 Lincoln's Sparrows.

Also of note at Point Roberts was a RUDDY TURNSTONE with a flock of
about 40 Black Turnstones on the beach immediately north of the boat
launch at Lighthouse Marine Park.

Both of these birds are quite unusual species for Point Roberts, so I
thought I'd post them ASAP in case anyone else wants to look for them.
