Hello All,
Yesterday (9th) in Western Walla Walla Co. in a strong sustained wind out of the sw we birded. Highlights are as follows .......
Mountain Chickadee.......3 at Charbonneau Park
Red-breasted Nuthatch...2 at Charbonneau Park
White-throated Sparrow...1 at Charbonneau Park
Merlin.............................2 at Charbonneau
Sharp-shinned Hawk........1 at Charbonneau
Greater White-fronted Geese..39 at McNary Pool
Sharp-shinned Hawk.........1 at Ice Harbor Dam
Lesser Yellowlegs.............6 on the Peninsula HMU
Pectoral Sandpiper............5 on the Tyson slop ponds
Thats it for a very windy day.
Just recieved a phone call about a third Blue Jay in Walla Walla from Paul Rossi. First seen on 8 October.
