Tweets,

This morning, an adult tan-striped WHITE-THROATED SPARROW was foraging (and
singing!) in the blackberries near the middle boardwalk at Juanita Bay Park.
About an hour after seeing it, I was across the street on the short road
behind the fire station, and caught a VERY brief glimpse of a possible
white-striped White-throated. I wasn?t able to relocate it, so am not
absolutely positive of the ID.

Other notes from the morning:
* Yellow-rumped Warbler ? a flock of 35-40.
* Pine Siskin ? 20+ - the first of the season.
* A perched Red-tailed Hawk was being strafed by an Anna?s Hummingbird.
* Some returning fall/winter species: Wilson?s Snipe and Winter Wren.

And though I?ve spent an inordinate amount of time checking out every (and
there are many!) Black-capped Chickadee, I haven?t spotted a Mountain
Chickadee yet. Would love to add it to the Park?s species list, but so far
no luck.
