Hi, Tweets

Today I went over to Swauk Prairie (just east of Cle Elum) to get my
bluebird trail ready for winter. No bluebirds around, and actually, due to
a pretty strong wind, we didn't see a lot of birds. Sixteen houses take a
couple hours and during that time we were treated to ravens all over the
place. Flying, sitting around, making many varied raven sounds, etc.- they
were truly enjoying the gorgeous weather.

In the Swauk Cemetery was a mountain chickadee and a few juncos. Nearby was
an American kestrel which scared up a small flock of cedar waxwings, and on
a fence was an American pipit. Otherwise, it was just a meager assortment
of regulars such as magpie, redtail, etc.

Cheers, Diann
