Greetings All,

Mountain Chickadees continue their wandering at Tokeland (Pacific
county). On 10/13, from 12:30 to 12:50 PM, near the Tokeland Marina, I
noted a flock of about 20 chickadees, between the intersections of Kindred
& Front and Kindred & Emerson:
6 Mountain Chk
2 Chestnut-backed Chk
3 Black-capped Chk
(others not identified to species)

plus 1 Palm Warbler in Scot's Broom on S side of Emerson, between Kindred
Ave & Whitcomb Ln.

Also, at the northern access to Johns River WRA (ABA Guide, p. 64) (Grays
Hbr co) 2:30 to 3 PM:
3 Downy Woodpecker
4 Hutton's Vireo
10+ CB Chk
1 BC Chk
1 Mt Chk
3 Golden-cr Kinglet
1 Ruby-cr Kinglet
1 Spotted Towhee

These birds were in one large flock in mixed alder-spruce-hemlock woods on
N side of trail, just before the first marshy clearing.

What a fine sunny day it was!
