Inlanders & Tweets,

After some intense birding over the last couple of
days, I was catching up on various household tasks and
errands. When I stopped by Joyce Alonso's house to
return a book, I immediately heard an eastern BLUE JAY
calling from down the street. After a couple of
minutes, the bird flew off. This neighborhood is
around Cook & 60th Avenues on the South Hill of
Spokane.

In case some west siders weren't aware, there is a
significant Blue Jay invasion underway throughout the
Inland NW (Montana, Idaho, and eastern Washington).
There are being reported as far west as Douglas, Walla
Walla, and Adams Counties.
