Sightings for Thursday, October 14th

The following birds were seen at the Reifel Refuge: 1 GOLDEN EAGLE,
1 BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERON, 1 BARRED OWL and 1 MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE.

Along 41B Street and 33A Ave was a NORTHERN SHRIKE.

At Lighthouse Marine Park at Point Roberts Washington the RUDDY TURNSTONE
was again present with a large flock of BLACK TURNSTONES.

Sightings for Wednesday, October 13th

RARE BIRD ALERT! Out of Town a DICKCISSEL was seen all day in Sannich at the
Van Trite Bulb Fields. For more information and further updates please call
the Victoria Rare Bird Alert at 1-250-592-3381.

A singing WHITE-THROATED SPARROW was found near the pond at Elgin Heritage
Park in South Surrey.

The RUDDY TURNSTONE was again present at Lighthouse Marine Park in Point
Roberts Washington.
