Just one thought, a bird with a single drop of oil, is threatened. The
insulating feathers are permeated by water from that single entrance
point. This hypothermia, and water soaked weight quickly causes
exhaustion. There is a PAWS group readied to address this issue I've
read, but there are going to be huge losses as Ed mentioned. The
toxicity to liver and lungs is horrendous.
What a shame!
