Thanks to Aaron I found the barred owl half way up the tree in front of Ben Bridge Jewelers on the south side of Pike St. just east of the intersection with 4th avenue. I joined an "eclectic" group gathered beneath the "owl" tree some of whom were there when I arrived at 3pm and still there when I left at 5. The word on the street was that the owl had been there all day. Hope my pictures turn out.
