I loosely use the term "parakeet" to refer to any member of the parrot
family with a pointy tail that is smaller than a macaw. I also heard them
referred to as conures, but never tried to figure the species out for
myself.

The most reliable spot I've found to spot them has been near and on the snag
by the parking lot at shelter 3 (I think that's the number) when you first
top the hill on the loop inside the park where the 2 way road splits into a
one way loop. Listen for their loud, raucus parrot-like calls.

I heard that they were conures, not parakeets.
Either mitred or cherry headed or red fronted.
Has anyone been to seward park and seen them or knows which type they are?
Or if I decide to go to seward park where to look for them?
