Some updated information about the book Wayne Weber refers to: Birds in
Washington State: a County Comparison. Although the 2001 Compilation no
longer available, the book is in the process of being updated and is
scheduled to be available again later this year.

Anyone wanting notification about book availability, obtaining checklists
for any or all 39 counties in Washington, or wanting information about
Washington Birder newsletter (where the County Checklists were developed
over a period of about 10 years) is welcome to contact us off-line at:
washingtonbirder at hotmail.com to obtain information.

By the way, our current checklist for Whatcom County now lists 335 species,
up 6 species from the 329 species mentioned by Wayne in his email!
