Hello All,
This cool morning we birded Pioneer Park in the center of Walla Walla. Good stuff in the park.
We saw the following species:

White-breasted Nuthatch......1 adult, very rare in this valley 3rd known record.
Red-breasted Nuthatch.......1 adult, this would be an expected species
Brown Creeper..........3 birds
Merlin.........2 birds pursuing each other around the park. Also seen chaising a pigeon. Both were of the columbarius race. One sub-adult and one adult.

Then over on Lowell Street there was one vocal Blue Jay.
Above Bryant Street we observed our first Northern Rough-legged Hawk of the season. A dark morph adult.
