Sometimes a dull day is anything but . . . as I type this an adult barred
owl is sitting on a branch just outside the windows of my study - about six
feet away. He is very animated, watching the bird feeders and the squirrel
activity, but mainly just moving his head around. I didn't move for about
15 minutes, but finally decided to "sneak" away and get a camera. After
some distant shots, I was right next to the window and he just watches me.
What an amazing treat to have this guy so very close. Well, I'm off for
another camera . . .
