On Sat., Oct. 22nd two of us birded from Brewster to Duley Lake, and had
some great finds: at the lake (DeLorme p. 101 5C) there were 13 Sandhill
Cranes, 5 Tundra Swans, 2 Surf Scoters, 3 Pintails and while we were
watching one Long-tailed Duck flew in and landed in front of us. There
were other assorted ducks as well. Driving to and from we saw Kestrels,
Red-tails, 1 Rough-Legged, Golden Eagle, Northern Shrike,and American
Pipits. Very nice birding. Meredith Spencer
