the end of days is coming... about 10 days ago, a peregrine falcon, became
a first-time visitor to the park... he has since been spotted on an
almost-daily basis, mostly in and around the end of the western boardwalk...
he seems rather calm with people around, and has allowed himself to be
photographed at relatively-close range...

also seen today was a northern harrier, a VERY infrequent visitor to the
park... he was seen for just a few seconds on the causeway, flying along
the shoreline, then photo'd (poor quality) about an hour later buzzing the
middle boardwalk on his way towards the western boardwalk... we are
definitely going to watch to see if he sticks around...

and last, but certainly not least, a greater-white fronted goose has been
feeding for the last week or so with a small herd of canada geese out on the
bay, and a sora was spotted for a few seconds in the reeds at the end of the
middle boardwalk...
