Hello Dennis and tweeters,

We live in Fircrest here in Tacoma and having Hutton's Vireo in our yard year around.In winter between November to February regular on the suet. Last year there was breeding near by and we had two offspring regular in out bird bath.We had visiting birders coming to our yard to seeing the Hutton's Vireo too.

Just had a Hutton's Vireo at our fountain, a rare visitor, and it prompted me to look up previous records of this species in the yard.

Interestingly all over the year but with a definite concentration in the fall. Never saw one on more than one day, so I assume none of them was resident.
