Today, approx. 4;30 p.m. at my feeders outside the kitchen window I had a
CHESTNUT -BACKED CHICKADEE. It was a beautiful bird in full colors:
chestnut on back and sides. It landed on a wind chime not 3 ft. from
us. It is not on the current Douglas Co. checklist from Ken Knittle. I
have to be a sub. teacher the next 2 days, but will come home for lunch to
