Wednesday, October 27th, sponsored in part by Wild Birds Unlimited, with
stores in Vancouver and North Vancouver.

Sightings for Wednesday, October 27th

The ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER was again seen along the inside of the hedgerow
at 72nd Street.

At the Reifel Refuge the following birds were reported:
1 GOLDEN EAGLE, 1 MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE, 1 CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICKADEE and
1 BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON.

Along the South Jetty at Iona Island was a flock of 11 SNOW BUNTINGS and a
WESTERN MEADOWLARK.

At the foot of 23rd Ave along the West Vancouver Seawall was a flock of 100+
SURFBIRDS.

Sightings for Tuesday, October 26th

At the foot of 104th Street on the afternoon hightide the ROCK SANDPIPER was
again present with a flock of Dunlin. At the pilings was a flock of 6-8 SNOW
BUNTINGS.

At the Marina at Point Roberts Washington the RUDDY TURNSTONE was again seen
amongst a flock of 20+ Black Turnstones.

Along 41B Street was a group of 2 AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVERS and 1 PACIFIC
GOLDEN PLOVER.

Sightings for Monday, October 25th

The ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER spent the day along the inside of the hedgerow
that parallels 72nd Street.
