Subject: [Tweeters] Peregrines on Cruise ships

Thanks to those of you who responded to my request for information
about peregrines using cruise ships as hunting platforms. There are in
fact quite a few observations in the literature, some from hundreds of
kilometers offshore. All in all, as usual, much more than meets the eye.

I also discovered a new (to me) resource - the Searchable
Ornithological Research Archive (SORA) which archives six major
ornithological journals. You can download papers from Condor, e.g. and
it is fast. Within the papers that are archived, the bibliographies
open doors to many more. It was a great way for me to find out quickly
what was in the literature on this subject.

SORA is at: http://elibrary.unm.edu/sora/ Unless I am mistaken, I did
not see it in the Tweeters links.
