Did a quick walk through of the south end of Spencer Island
yesterday (Thursday) morning, very foggy and lonely.
Interesting sightings included:

Blackcapped Chickadees
100 or so Ruddy Ducks
Northern Shovellers
Marsh Wrens
lots of Robins
Northern Harriers
adult and juvenile Red Tailed Hawks
many Spotted Towhees
Great Blue Herons
Bushtits
Glaucous-winged Gulls
Gadwalls
30-40 green winged Teals
Kingfishers
Flickers
House Finches
Pine Siskins
Am. Gold Finches
Bonaparte Gulls

More than 20 Ruby Crowned Kinglets. I've never seen so many
in one place.
Several Hermit Thrushes

One Bald Eagle flying away from me with something large in its claws.
Couldn't tell what it was but the eagle was definitely working hard.

With the bridge out and the dike breached, it appears many fewer
people are visiting the island. It was pleasant and damp.
