Well it is almost the end of October and it is time to start planning the
2004/2005 Christmas Bird Counts.
This year the Moses Lake CBC will be held on December 18th (a Saturday). We
will continue to schedule this count on the first Saturday of the count
period to offer those who work the time to be a part of this great event.
As always, the key to a successful count is those who work so hard in the
field counting birds in inclement weather. My thanks to all of you who have
so graciously donated your time in the past. I hope that you will find the
time to participate in this years count as well.
Last year we set several records for numbers of species and new species to
the count. This was accomplished in spite of difficult weather conditions.

this count. I will send you an itinerary and other information pertinent to
the count.
