Tweeters,
Crisp south breeze, partly cloudy overhead, and a slight chop on the
waters of Turning Basin #3. Four GADWALLS were feeding on the western
edge of TB3 to the north of the pier. These were the first I've seen
since a month ago (9/28).

Note for Peregrine Falcon aficionados: At 3:50pm yesterday (10/28), I
spotted two Peregrine Falcons perched about 4 feet apart at the south
end of the catwalk on the west (Hamm Creek) power tower. There was a
definite size discrepancy between them, which leads me to conjecture
that one of them was a female, and the other the male that's been here
for over a year.
