Tweets & Dawn,
Turkeys are hunted atop Blumauer Hill, which borders the (south-)east side of Rock Prairie which contains the alpaca farm west of Tenino. I have heard of turkey(s?) sighted near Churchill Rd, which is downslope to the east from Blumauer Hill, east of Tenino. And one approx. a mile further east where Old Military Rd. enters SR 507, near the "S" curve at the old RR grade. I think it was about a year ago a turkey was spotted in a yard on the north side of Offut Lake. My vague recollection is that the Blumauer population may be transplants from the Johnson Creek group, "but don't quote me on that."
Good birding!

I forgot to mention I did see a Wild Turkey hen near the Alpaca farm outside of Tenino last Saturday Oct 23, about 8:00 am. Did they release Turkeys there also?
