Sunday, 10/31/04, while conducting the monthly census at the
Steigerwald Lake N.W.R. near Washougal in Clark County, WA I came across
one SURF SCOTER in the Washougal Wastewater Treatment Plant. This bird
would be visible from the shoulder of Highway 14 as it was in the
Northern most pond among Lesser Scaup.
