Did some birding in the blustery weather of Vantage today. Lots of
waterfowl, only a couple of notable sightings...
1 GYRFALCON hunting ducks on the island in the river just south of the Horse
Farm
Lots of Canada Goose, couldn't find any Cackling Goose but in a flock on an
island just north of Wanapum dam had a immature SNOW GOOSE.
1 Herring Gull just below Wanapum Dam.
On my way back home...
2 adult Trumpeter Swans on the south of the two Thrall exit ponds (east side
of I-82).
