Mostly cloudy skies, with a light south breeze, and mild temps at Turning Basin #3 (TB3). Highlights today include seven (the most I've seen here) GREEN-WINGED TEAL feeding in the stormwater runoff channel behind the restoration area; six MEW GULLS searching the mudflat on the west side; and three RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS at the top of the west power tower at Hamm Creek.

The guy with the Reddaway ball cap fishing from the restoration peninsula (using a spoon of some sort) spooked many of the birds from that mudflat.
