For anyone interested in egrets,

A volunteer who staffs the phones for Black Hills Audubon told me yesterday that
someone had recently reported an egret in Budd Inlet, on the exposed mudflat
below West Bay Drive, Olympia, near a newly constructed house. It was seen
from Percival Landing, downtown. The report was passed on to Bill Shelmerdine,
who tracks sightings for the chapter.
