Hello Tweeters,

Yesterday afternoon we observed a mixed flock of SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS,
WESTERN SAND PIPERS AND SANDERLING at the north beach of
Golden Gardens Park.?The birds were very cooperative for photography,
considering the number dogs and people on the beach.

?While photographing BLACK CAPPED CHICADEES AND SONG SPARROWS under the
do not feed the birds sign, next to the duck pond, two large, glossy,
obviously very well feed with unconsumed duck food, RATTUS NORVEGICUS
appeared unconcerned about our presence two meters away.??

?Suddenly in the lens a NORTHERN WATER THRUSH hopped into view.?The
thrush was wagging its tail as it went back and forth across the small
clearing and good photos were obtained.?We were wondering if any one
has observed water thrush in this area?
