Late this afternoon I made a brief stop at the end of Sinclair Inlet near
Gorst, Kitsap County. It was during low tide and the mudflats were exposed.
I'm thinking this'll be a great spot for winter gulls. Birds seen, no
particular order

Great Blue Heron
Western Sandpiper - 3 juvies, 1 adult, skulking in the cattails
Red-winged Blackbirds - molting adult and a few juvies
Tern sp. - at least 2 dozen; assuming Caspian
Kildeer - 6
Gulls, Mew - at least 4
Gulls, GW/Western (?) - dozens
Gull sp. - many immatures, don't know what they were
Euro Starlings
Barn Swallows

This area will be undergoing a transformation over the next months/few
years. I'm really looking forward to seeing a nice park in this area and
anticipate this becoming a really good little spot to bird:
