fascinating day at JBP... started with one of the rangers saying some
apparently young osprey appear to be pair-bonding on/near the artificial
tower in the bay (very nice thing), and there was talk about the warblers
all over...

not a warbler did i see, but i found and listened to lincoln, fox, and song
sparrows, and was gifted with almost reasonable photographs of a single sora
near the beaver lodge on the causeway... he drove me absolutely nuts for
almost 90 minutes before deigning to allow the photos, too... those among
us thought it might turn out to be a yellow rail (serious rarity!), but both
stokes and sibleys' bashed that idea into the ground...

anna's hummers, some beautiful spotted towhees, numerous barn swallows, and
a non-specific flycatcher rounded out the fun...
