Your letter to the police department are so appreciated and the way you kindly wrote this up and ask other birders also report's violator of our precious beaches to protect the migrating Shorebirds.I had a chance the last two days to talk to a lot of birders on North Cove where we waited around to find the Black-tailed Gull the issue to being good Steward's to help in protecting our few habitat what are left.We are so fortune the way the four birders from Salmon Arm BC Canada that we having wetlands like John River to find the species we lately found and also predicted.There is less damage done there and most people going there the seeing the big Elk Herd who are coming to drink water sinking into their breast and being so powerful to get out with no effort.It is peaceful to watch.This last weekend probable was the first time that so many birders visit this place
Thank you Connie to write such a plea to patrol the beaches better,and I thank all the birders for helping the plea for protecting our beaches.
