High water and a fresh, though warm, breeze from the south at Turning Basin #3 (TB3). It was fortuitous that I was river-viewing at the identical times as yesterday, but the numbers of species was even lower today than yesterday (7 today vs 11 yesterday).

A Port of Seattle small craft labeled "Environmental Research" with a couple of people and several crabpots motored downstream through TB3 at the same time that a guy in another small craft headed at high speed upstream. I guess the guy wanted to get to his "fishin' hole" quickly. Not as many fish seemed to be jumping, but that could be more a factor of not seeing the splashes as well today with the choppy water.

Osprey (2; one at Hamm Creek nest and another on very low piling at the south end of TB3)
