Tell your friend what a great find it is to locate a STFC that far north. Was it a male with complete tail feathers? STFC are so common here in Texas during the summer that you trip over them. I did not know that there were individuals that got that far north. Could you send me a copy of the pic you took?

Steve Frazier located a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher near the Moses Lake
International Airport this morning. It was just north of the
intersection of Tyndall and Randolph Roads on a Port of Moses Lake sign
in a field adjacent to a substation. I was able to get photos of it.
